Since the last program update (Store Manager for WooCommerce ver. 126.96.36.1991) the Store Diagnostics section is available for usage!
Store Diagnostics feature allows monitoring data and find the incorrect or incomplete details at your store with the ability to fix the issues. Open current section from the Tools tab of Store Manager.
Scroll down the list of possible actions on the left side, selecting the data you want to diagnose.
Default list is divided into the three sections:
- Images - related to the image assignment and displaying in the store:
- SEO - will find and display the records with non-standard titles -i.e. too small / too long product names:
- Common sector - contains fields on product assignment and visibility, presence of product SKU identifier, duplicates in product URL keys etc.
During diagnostics the 'Scan and Fix' action, if it has been chosen before, is executing automatically. For example, the images, which are not assigned to any products, will be deleted from the store database right after
the completion of the inspection. You should note, some fields have only the ‘Scan’ position - diagnosed data can be corrected manually.
For example, to fill the empty SKU fields in the records which are found after inspection use the 'Edit Product' button in the Diagnostics toolbar and specify SKU value in the form for each product separately.
Before running Store diagnostics set the appropriate actions opposite selected fields.
Please note, only checked positions will be inspected.
You will see the summary results in red once the process is completed:
The diagram at the bottom of the left pane displays the summary results of the diagnostics.
Each segment - the appropriate position of diagnostics checkbox above.
On the right you can see the dynamic toolbar that varies depending on the type of store diagnostics, chosen from the drop-down list:
‘Select Specific Diagnostic’ list allows uploading the results within the appropriate diagnostics type and make some updates/changes by helping with toolbar options.
For example, you can preview the results of ‘Product titles out of range’ diagnostics on the right and make the correction within Store Diagnostics section:
Or after choosing ‘External URLs in Description’ type you can fix the incorrect URL paths in the product description fields by using the ‘Edit Product’ option:
'Go to Product' switches to the product on the Products page of Store Manager.
'Export Grid' - transfer resulted data to a file of the appropriate format.
The diagnosed results are reflected in the diagrams below.
